Shopping at Chubby Hands is an excellent way to support small and humble businesses. All of our accessories are handmade, meaning each item is unique and crafted with care. In addition, you are helping to support independent makers like us who are dedicated to creating quality handmade accessories. With Chubby Hands, you know that your purchase is making a positive impact on the lives of those who have put their time and effort into creating the items you buy.

At the moment, we do not have a brick-and-mortar store. All things at Chubby Hands happen in our humble abode. However, we are striving to hopefully be able to open one soon by doing what we love as well as the support from you guys!

You may have noticed that some of our items are priced slightly on the higher side, in particular the micro crochet series. At Chubby Hands, we only make micro crochet and not the normal crochet. (Refer to our next FAQ question as we explain the main differences between micro crochet and normal crochet) Our micro crochet flowers take approximately from 8 hours up to 108 hours to finish each single piece. And our amigurumi animal series may take more than 12 hours to finish each piece. So, it is extremely time consuming and tedious to make. At Chubby Hands, our creations are born from a labor of love, meticulously handcrafted with unwavering patience and precision.

Micro crochet is a technique that uses very thin thread and hooks to create intricate and delicate designs. Not only is micro crochet much more tedious to make, it requires a lot of patience and skill, as the stitches are much smaller than those used in normal crochet. Normal crochet, on the other hand, uses thicker yarns and hooks to create larger, more textured designs. It is generally easier and quicker to learn than micro crochet. Yes! We can do customize designs. Contact us with your request and we will work with you to discuss the details and provide a quotation.

It depends on the type of product and details which will affect how long it will take. At Chubby Hands, we strive to make sure all custom orders are created as quickly as possible. Generally, fabrication process can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to complete excluding packing and shipping lead time. However, this timeline can vary depending on the complexity of the product.

All our items are priced in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

The delivery fee for all Singapore orders from Chubby Hands is a flat rate of S$2.20. Standard delivery fee will be free of charge for local orders above S$50. For international orders, please refer to the accurate delivery fee at your cart or when you check out as it differs from different countries and weight. Yes, we do! We offer international shipping to many countries around the world.

All ex-stock items will be packed and shipped within 2-3 business days. For local Singapore orders, it will typically arrive within 5-8 business days upon order. For International standard orders in Asia region, it should arrive within 10-18 business days, depending on destination. For International standard orders in US, Europe and rest of the world, it should arrive within 12-21 business days, depending on destination. Please note that delivery time may vary depending on your location. If you have any questions regarding your delivery time, please contact us.

For local orders, the courier company operate Monday to Saturday from 9am - 10pm (excluding public holidays). They will make up to 3 delivery attempts. Do check with them directly with your tracking number provided by us if you have any issues receiving your parcel. For International orders, do check with the courier company directly with your tracking number provided by us if you have any issues receiving your parcel. If you received a incorrect or defective product, kindly whatsapp message to us at +65 9838 7280 or email to us at chubby.hands.official@gmail.com with the order number and pictures of the product within 14 days of the date you have received the item and we will get in touch with you for the refund process. Please note that there will be a S$‌10 charge if you fail to return the item(s) back with original packaging in its original condition. Please do understand due to the nature of handmade products, it's possible for slight variations to occur. Unlike mass-produced items, where precision is more easily achieved, handmade goods bear the marks of individuality and human touch.
